This is Bella.
Bella is our new kitten.
Bella likes to run.
Bella doesn't stop so well.
Bella falls.
A lot.
Having just witnessed her skidding through the rungs of the second story stair railing, grasping wildly at the air, before a heart-stopping (mine--not hers!) fall to the hard wood floor below...I can only say
thank goodness for multiple feline lives.
she seemed stunned for a moment, shook off and ran back up the stairs. presumably to practice her technique.

What a pretty kitty
What an adorable kitty! Our cat Muffy has the same issue with her "brakes." She constantly runs too fast down the wood-floored hallway and doesn't slow down quite early enough to make the turn into the kitchen or our bedroom -- thus sliding/slamming herself into the wall or doorway. Thank goodness we've only got a one-story house rather than the two you've got! :)
Um, I think we may have cursed her with her name. Poor Bella, reckless and clumsy just like her namesake. Good thing there aren't any vampires around to make it even worse for her!!!
