The commercial and photos were shot the month before my family and I moved to Arizona. We were gone before they were posted. That did raise some eyebrows and questions :)
I was 13 at the time.
My 'boyfriend' in the ad was also a student at the theater school I attended. He was quite a bit older than me and I remember being so embarrassed during the shoot. My father was the commercial director, for goodness sake!
I recently re-connected with said 'boyfriend' via the magic that is Facebook. AND...(it gets better)...2 weekends ago, some girlfriends and I took a roadtrip to Seattle to see a show that he was in! and, yes, I did wait around and say hello to him after. and, no, he had absolutely no idea who I was. lol! (don't worry, i explained it to him and we had a jolly reunion after that--it consisted of him saying 'no way!!!' a few times)
you know what's really weird? the baby that was in the ad with us is 20 years old now.

Eesh. At a wedding last year, I had a drink with my cousin Joseph, who was the first baby I ever held.
You movie star, you!
A little embarrassing topic for a teen, but still pretty cool to have your picture up on a big sign for all to see.
The part about the baby being 20 - now that's a bit depressing!
Wow! you really are famous! Loved that you moved away right after it.....small town folk always need something good to talk about.
wow, I remember that flier! I really thought you were something special when you showed me that in 8th grade! Yet I learned new details about the story today! You are so cool!
Hey I remember that! AND I remember Lyam! He might have been your boyfriend, but he was my husband. TAKE THAT!! In Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, that is...
So, what you are saying is you're famous, right?
I'm trying to decide if I would want to be on a billboard. Hmm...
